Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris in April 15, 1990. Her parents were Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, who got separated when Emma was only five years old. They both were British Lawyers & after their divorce Emma was with her mother & younger brother to Oxfordshire.
She took training at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theater Arts where she learned singing, acting and dancing, at the age of six years. When Emma was ten years old, she made performance in various Stagecoach productions and also in school play like ‘Authur: The Young Years & The happy Prince’.
As she had done may stage coach productions and also school play’s, she was one of the fortunate at the age of nine years to get chance to play the role of Hermione Granger as one of the stars leading in the ‘Harry Porter’ film series. Her co – star in the film were Dainel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in all eight ‘Harry Porter’ film series from 2001 to 2011.
Being the lead part and did hard work in the film ‘Harry Porter’ made Emma one of the successful and famous English actress. She earned more than $ 10 million through this film and also was praised with many awards and recognitions.
Besides ‘Harry Potter’ series role, she was seen in 2007 BBC film ‘Ballet Shoes (inspired from the novel Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild) broad cast in UK on Boxing Day 2007, directed by Sandra Goldbacher. ‘Battet Shoes’ film director commented that Watson was “perfect” for the lead role of aspiring Pauline Fossil: “She has a piercing, delicate aura that makes you want to gaze and gaze at her.”
A children’s comedy animated film ‘The Tale of Despereaux’, co – star Matthew Broderick, where Emma lent her voice to the role of Princess Pea. This film was released in December 2008 and earned around $87 million through out the world.
