The song was written by Brown, Diplo, Jean Baptiste, Ryan Buendia, Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. It was produced by Diplo and Afrojack. It was featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. The song was released as the second single from F.A.M.E. on February 1, 2011, as a digital download in the United States and was added to rhythmic radio on February 8, 2011.

Look At Me Now is three minute and forty three second long, a hip-hop song and it features an eerie down tempo beat, and fast-rapping. The fans and critics gave the song mixed reviews.

"Look at Me Now"  was very successful in the United States:

·         It reaching number six on the Billboard Hot 100.

·         It was topping the Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

·         It was debut at number sixty-eight on January 22, 2011. After spending nine weeks on that chart, the song peaked at number one on March 26, 2011.

·         It has also charted in Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.

·         The song has also reached number one, becoming the singer's first number one on that chart as a lead artist on the Billboard Rap Songs.

·         In Australia, "Look at Me Now" debuted at number seventy-five on the ARIA Singles Chart, and peaked at number forty-six.

·         It also reached at number fifteen on the ARIA Urban Singles Chart.

·         It was more successful on the UK R&B Chart, where it peaked at number thirteen.

The music video of this song was filmed in Los Angeles. It was directed by Colin Tilley, who had previously directed the music videos for "Yeah 3x" and "Deuces". Video shoot photos were released online the next day of shooting.

In May 2011, the song received three nominations at the 2011 BET Awards for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Coca-Cola Viewer's Choice. And "Look at Me Now" Chris Brown, featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes also win in Bet Awards 2011 for above three categories.
